What to Expect When Getting Dentures for the First Time

Getting dentures for the first time can be a big step—but it’s also a life-changing one. Whether you’re replacing missing teeth for health reasons or improving your smile, knowing what to expect can make the experience smoother and less intimidating.

Step 1: The Initial Consultation

Your journey begins with a consultation with a denturist or dentist. They’ll evaluate your oral health, discuss your options (complete or partial dentures), and explain the process.

Step 2: Tooth Extraction (If Needed)
